Miss Sam is a pediatric occupational therapist and certified SOS feeding therapist. She received both her Bachelor's and Master's Degrees from Quinnipiac University. Miss Sam always knew she wanted to go into pediatrics, but fell in love with feeding therapy during her pediatric clinical rotation at the NAPA Center's Los Angeles location.
Miss Sam has experience working in early intervention and in the pediatric outpatient setting. Within these settings she has worked with general picky eaters and children with sensory aversions, children on and transitioning off feeding tubes, those with delayed oral motor skills, children with food allergies, as well as those with additional GI diagnoses and medical complexities. She formalized her feeding training in 2020 with the SOS Approach to Feeding Certification course and has since completed several additional SOS courses to continue her education.
Being embedded in the pediatric community of the South Shore, it became apparent that there is a gap in formal feeding therapy services. Little Snackers was created by Sam to fill that gap and support parents, families and children in all areas of feeding.
Join our group therapy sessions to support children with a variety of picky eating habits or feeding concerns. Our dynamic sessions blend fun activities with proven therapies, guiding children towards intrinsically motivating food choices and lifelong wellness. Experience the transformative power of hands-on learning as we cultivate continued growth in feeding routines and encourage children to find comfort and excitement in trying new foods.
